Sex appeal is a BIG reason all of us workout! No need to be a prude…When you get in great shape you feel good naked. When you feel good naked, you radiate confidence. Confidence makes you sexier to your partner…which in turn leads to better sex!

Napolean Hill, in “Think and Grow Rich” mentions how to use this driving force to accomplish great things. You actually can use your sexuality as a way to accomplish near impossible tasks. Channel some of that energy into getting into great shape.

Think about you current partner and how getting into better shape is going to make things better in the bedroom. We all want to be sexually desirable. It has been shown that cardio in particular is beneficial to your sex life. It increases the blood flow to the entire body…including places where it counts when in the bedroom. Exercise boosts hormones in both men and women. Woman in particular have a much stronger sexual desire when they are in great shape. They also have much more intense and satisfying orgasms when they are in peak condition.

Yeah…I agree…one of those really obvious things. Extra fat on your body is bad is many ways, but I know the one thing that motivates guys is to avoid ED. One time someone told me the yellow dye in Mountain Dew could give you ED. I used to love Diet Dew, but didn’t touch the stuff until I found out that was a myth.

Tell a guy he may die early because of extra body fat, and he won’t change his habits…but he will do anything to avoid ED! You gotta love how our mind works!

I just came from the gym – did 45 minutes of cardio, then walked around and did various activities of weight lifting, and then did another 20 minutes of cardio before I left. And here I am. Rusty, I’m wiped out! I have to get up at 6am for school tomorrow, and then work for 5 hours from 4-9. And do homework.

Haha, suddenly my life has become really busy when I added working out daily. 😛 How do you find the time?

Rusty, while I’m happy to be heading home for Thanksgiving, I don’t have a gym I can go to for that brief period of time. It’s also pretty cold out so I don’t feel like running outdoors (I know, I know…). Any suggestions for a kind of cardio to do in an average indoor setting that will get the metabolism going? Maybe Tabata push-ups?

I could do Tabata army crawls around the living room table I guess, but I’m really hoping you have a better solution in mind.

Amen brother! I try to include good examples of fitness in the pictures and videos on this site as often as possible.


I’m going to give out advice that I give to everyone during the holidays…Just enjoy the special time with your family. I eat so many calories on Thanksgiving that cardio isn’t going to come close to burning them off.

Here is what I recommend for “damage control”. Train like crazy leading up to Thanksgiving. Create a major calorie deficit a few days before and lift and hit cardio like mad leading up to the holiday. A large portion of those massive amount of calories will be converted to glycogen for your depleted muscles.

What I typically find is that I come back stronger after Thanksgiving following this approach. It will take you 3-4 days to get back on track after pigging out, but it is worth it…life is short, enjoy your loved ones and relax. I’m ordering you NOT to workout!

that is a cool approach rusty…i always find that the muscles absorb a huge load better when you haven’t eaten much the days before…it is also more satisfying. I guess it goes in line with ori’s idea od overfeeding when you need to. He even recomends full days of undereating rotated with full days of overeating to flip the anabolic switch. Imagine a warrior week until sunday, hit the gym, then pig out. It would be really satisfying I think.

I naturally have days where I overeat, because I like to enjoy life…I bet planned days would workout just as well.

What is funny is that often times I look my best a day or two after pigging out! I look great today despite eating a week’s worth of calories in one day on Thanksgiving.

I had a question I had been wanting to ask for awhile and this section just happens to pop up the day I ask 😛

Not that my sex life is lagging or anything, hah, but I know having great stamina can lead to better sex. So my question is, what is the best way to build(and keep) stamina up? Running/biking? Weight lifting? etc etc?

I would definitely suggest high intensity interval training mixed with steady state aerobics. The blood flow and circulation that cardio workouts provide will benefit you tremendously.

Also…do planks on a regular basis. This will tighten up your torso muscles!

That was quite interesting information!! There is no doubt that your sex life will be a lot more enjoyable if you are in good shape and the video was quite a revelation, I must say!! It is important that we maintain our figure and continue to look attractive for the men and vice versa so that we are happy in the family front!! Ha-ha! Great article. I thought that there is some connection between men’s shapes and his sexual life. I made some research, and it turns out that this idea is not new. Here are some exercises for women to have better sex. I think what you’ve written above concerns not only men but women too. It is important to have thin waist for women as well.
