Hey Rusty, I'm planning to follow your advices regarding diet and workout. I think i would need an article that should emphasize the most important things to do or not to do during the training day.
You have a lot of great advices, some of them obviously more important than others, and i can't decide what advices i should really be strict about and what advices should i take in a more flexible way.
Thank you for this really great site.

Remon,

A large percentage of my readers live in Europe. I think it is probably because for the most part, the European countries are pretty hip to new fashions and trends, etc...Places like London, Paris, Milan, Denmark, Stockholm, etc...are all ahead of the game when it comes to many trends. The "excessively" muscular look has been out-of-style for quite a long time, but many people over in the U.S. are slow to adapt.

I really appreciate the Internet, because it allows me to communicate with people from all over the world. Very cool you are from the Netherlands! When I travel to Europe, I may ask you where some of the hot spots are.

You will lose that weight for sure!

I was never really into excersizing, but always felt unhappy with my body. I'm not person who has a lot of willpower, but this time i'm absolutely convinced that I will put an end to my extra pounds... for good!

It's hard to get me motivated for something but your blog certainly helps doing just that! Your articles are a great read, so thanks a bunch!

CaRTz,

That is great! Jumping rope is tough at first, but once you get the timing down you can do some impressive things. The great thing about jumping rope is it really helps the body become functional for other sports.

A 3% drop in body fat percentage is really good.

Keep up the great work!

Hey Rusty,

You're the first person who really made me serious about working out. I've only been doing the jump rope routine you wrote about but it's a start right? I started with 19% bodyfat and I'm now on 16% so I am making progress.

Thanks a bunch!

Mark,

Thanks a bunch buddy! My blog angers a lot of bodybuilders, but that isn't who I'm writing for. There is a ton advice on the internet about getting bigger...I'm just trying to help people look "better"...big difference.

Isn't it cool to know that you don't have to eat like crazy all the time. Eating less overall calories and eating less often will help you lose weight? The six meal per day plans CAN work, but you have to make sure that the meals are tiny...and that is hard to do!

Hi! I never comment on websites, but since you said it makes a difference to you... I randomly found this website and devoured it. You are right on. I never really had a weight problem UNTIL I started all the conventional advice--- eating constantly, never letting my blood sugar drop, frying my muscles to the point I was non stop ravenous. I gained 50 pounds seemingly out of nowhere, and it was all fat. I became a true fat ass!!! And when people would see me at the gym and notice my weight gain, their advice was: you must have become lazy and you're not working out enough! Get to work, add more weight to that pull down machine, do more sets! Are you eating enough through the day, blah blah. I'm finally beginning to look like a normal person again. How am I doing it? I'm not working out that much and I'm not eating that much. If someone had advised me to do that I'd have thought them an unsophisticated boob. Your website's a real service. I think most people who look great are probably having too much fun to actually keep up work like this. Thanks so much.

Rusty, LOL! Hey, I thought Neo was the ONE. I'm getting really confused.

Ben, not a problem. Muscle pulls and sprains are frustrating as can be because there is such a wide range of damage so you can be back at it in a few days or it could be a few months.

Gregg,

Thanks a lot for the great info! Its just what I needed to hear. I guess I'll just have to be a little bit more patient.

Rusty,

Thanks for the honesty! I'd much rather that than ill-informed advice.

Gregg,

His shorts look similar, but that is where the similarity ends. He is OBVIOUSLY much cooler than me...I don't have a kick-ass video where I show the ladies my muscles. Also...you gotta be in great shape to tear up your jeans like he does in the end of the video!

In Envy of "The ONE"!

Ben,

As a soccer, basketball and tennis player, I've had my share of experience with groin pulls. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot you can do about them. You can get massages and use heat pads. As far as healing, all groin pulls are different and it just takes time.

That's why you see some athletes come back from a groin pull in a week and some end up losing a season because it just keeps nagging and every time they try and gear up to come back, they tweak it.

Any type of sprain or pull has a big range as far as how bad it is and how long it takes to heal. That's why you hear how sometimes a clean bone break would be better for an athlete than a sever high ankle sprain, groin pull, hamstring pull, etc.

Give it a lot of rest and go slow when you do test it. Give it a few weeks before testing. Sometimes, testing too soon keeps causing set backs and it will never get back to 100%.

Hope this helps.

Gregg
PS - That bodybuilder wears shorts like Rusty, don't you think?

Angie,

I want to make a point to visit your blog more. I like it that you focus on women's fitness. You are a great portal for all sorts of good info.

Anyway...thanks for all your comments in the past. I'll do my best to behave when I visit your blog...good thing I don't have the power to put up put disturbing videos that may give people nightmares on your blog (seriously Angie...don't watch the video above)

I wonder if I should try to find this guy on BodySpace? I'll say "My friend Angie thinks your cool and wants to set you up with one of her friends"..."She wants to be dominated by the ONE"!

Cheers,

Rusty

PS: I'm a bad person...he is probably a normal guy...OR Not!

Ben,

I don't have experience with groin pulls. At some point I may address more injuries, but for now I don't have any info on that. I don't want to write about something that I don't have a lot of info on, but If I find a good resource I'll e-mail you (I should have your e-mail address, since you commented on my blog).

Jonneh,

This GUY is in every gym...LOL! I'm serious! This video actually makes me laugh my ass off!

Unfortunately he gives off super-creepy vibes. You wouldn't want him around children.

I feel like I need to take a shower after watching this video. It may be the most disturbing video I've ever seen!

I'm sorry for putting this on my website, but I have to let people see how twisted bodybuilders get. This sort of "whacked out" attitude is actually common with bodybuilders. These guys have no idea how stupid they look!

Rusty

PS: Ask Kylie if "she likes his guns" or if "she wants to be dominated by the ONE"? If you can make it all the way towards the end of this video, this freak actually get oiled up and has a roid rage where he tears apart his jeans! I may have the easiest job ever...it is SO easy to make fun of bodybuilders...maybe I should pick something more challenging...nah, this is too fun!

hey Rusty,

This is pretty off-topic, but do you have any advice for treating groin pulls? I figured I may as well ask you before consulting any of the millions of other fitness sites.

Just some quick background info:I've been sidelined for about a month now, and there's still some discomfort in the area. I'm afraid to do anything because everytime i attempt a comeback it acts up again. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
