They have been playing a lot of PS movies in the US on the cable stations. His stuff is really good. He chose some great roles!

Hi Rusty,

Just got back from Thailand last night. I had no idea re. PS having cancer until I read it on your site.

Really sad news but lets hope he can kick it as he's such an awesome guy and has always been in amazing shape for so many years.

I'm also a 80's PS movie tragic! I loved Road House, Point Break and don't tell anyone but even DD!

Patrick Swayze is a true example of someone who has taken care of himself and stayed on top of the game. He is an awesome actor, dancer and has remained true to himself. He also has stayed married for a over 20 years to the love of his life. He is positive example to all Hollywood types! I hope he can fight his cancer. He is a strong person!!!

Thanks a bunch. I really enjoy great movies…it is a form of art on my opinion. Patrick was such a unique actor. I certainly don't know him, but know he has been married to the same woman since before he was famous…I like faithful people who don't change just because they get famous. He seems like sort of guy to me.

i agree!! dirty dancing is a great movie. patrick swayze doesn't get enough acclaim like brad pitt, matt damon, etc., for aging so damn well and he should. i really hope he gets better …

I have been thinking about Patrick since I heard the news. He does stand out in every movie he's in. He may not be the best actor in the world but you don't care because he is so charismatic.

I have been thinking positive thoughts for him. It's strange how you can often forget about someone until something like this happens. I don't know him personally but feel real concern for him.

Also, "Point Break"! This movie is such a no brainer but I love it.

He was also in Donnie Darko.

I hope he survives, like i do hope that everyone sick survives, health and Life are the most precious things, and we do tend to forget about it. I also believe miracles do happen, letÂ´s hope for one. I've read about it yesterday on the news, the doctors said there's still hope. I hope they're right.

Patrick's mom owned a dance school and this is where he learned how to dance! This article just goes to show you that everyone can do their part to stay healthy, but we have to live life to its fullest each day because we can't control everything about our health, and unfortunately it can change in the blink of an eye.

I wish Patrick luck too. I have also noticed that he is always in top shape and respect him for that.
