<p><em>I just wanted to say &#034;thanks&#034;! I have been working out in the same gym as you for the past 19 years and I&#039;ve rarely spoken to you. I know you must think I&#039;m a &#034;pretty boy&#034; for doing cardio and NOT doing hardcore things like yelling and dropping weights. Oh well&#8230;maybe you will like me better after this &#034;thank you&#034; letter.</em><span id="more-50"></span></p>
<p><u><em><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for wearing clothes from the 80&#039;s</u>! No seriously&#8230;things like spandex and florescent tops are hard to come by these days&#8230;that stuff is vintage!</p>
<p><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for wearing those really small tank tops</u>. Everyone loves looking at your nipples&#8230;that is a wonderful look&#8230;only you can pull it off! Also&#8230;those benches get &#034;softened&#034; by all the sweat from your back&#8230;making it better for everyone in the gym!</em></p>
<p><u><em><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for being &#034;hardcore&#034;</u>! Everyone knows that you will gain extra muscle if you drop the weights after each set. Those other wussie guys don&#039;t know what it is like to lift heavy. If they were as hardcore as you&#8230;obviously they would drop the weights also! </em></p>
<p><u><em><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for yelling and grunting during you sets</u>! Obviously a guy like me isn&#039;t &#034;hardcore&#034; yet, so I&#039;m not up to this level. It is nice to see how &#034;real lifting&#034; is done! If I wanted to get &#034;really intense&#034; I would do that as well&#8230;too bad I don&#039;t know what&#039;s up.</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for using three pieces of equipment at the same time</u>. We all know that your workout is MUCH more important than ours.</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for posing in the mirror in between sets</u>. Everyone in the gym is just dying to see your freaky muscle mass. We can&#039;t get enough of that!</em></p>
<p><em><strong><u>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for doing your sets right in front of the dumbbell rack</u>. We didn&#039;t want to use any of those dumbbells anyway&#8230;and if I need to put my dumbbells away, I can wait 5 minutes for you to get done with your shrugs&#8230;no worries!</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for intimidating and scaring away all the normal attractive girls</u>. We wouldn&#039;t want attractive women in our gym, that would distract us from reaching our goals. Interesting women have no place in our weight room! Thanks a bunch for that one.</em> </p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for singing and rapping the songs that are playing on your Ipod</u>. We LOVE that&#8230;we know that you are just trying to share your music with the world. Everyone loves hardcore hip-hop and heavy metal.</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for bringing you buddy, who is louder than you</u>! How could two such &#034;hardcore&#034; guys be in the same place at once! We all get love hearing the pep talks&#8230;when you scream &#034;It&#039;s all you man&#8230;it&#039;s all you!&#034;</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for not putting any of your weights away</u>! I now include that as part of my workout&#8230;&#034;Three sets of flyes, Four sets of cable rows, Ten sets of putting weights away for big obnoxious idiot&#034;&#8230;putting your weights away is good for the forearm muscles and is a great low back exercise when you leave them on the ground&#8230;thank again&#8230;you rule!</em></p>
<p><em><u><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for scaring away and intimidating a lot of beginners who just want to get in shape and lose a few pounds.</u> If they can&#039;t handle your intensity they don&#039;t belong in the gym anyway. Hopefully they read your &#034;Lift Big or Go Home&#034; tank top&#8230;then they will get the message!</em></p>
<p><u><em><strong>Thank You</strong>&#8230;for giving our free weight room that great &#034;prison yard&#034; vibe</u>. All the grunting and trying to look tough&#8230;we really enjoy that! I always get a better workout when it feels like a fight could happen at any moment. </em></p>

<p><strong>Note:</strong> I wrote this letter after I witnessed an obnoxious A-hole, intimidate a beginning weight trainer in my gym. I doubt if this beginner will come back to workout. I let the obnoxious mongoloid know that he was an idiot and almost got into a fight.</p>
<p><u>I&#039;m really sick of obnoxious bodybuilding A-holes making the gym such an unwelcome place for both beginners and women</u>. Part of the mission of my blog is to call these guys out and let them know they are pretty much repulsive to every normal human being&#8230;and especially to women.  </p>
<p><strong>Please don&#039;t let these losers ruin our gyms!</strong> I would love it, if I could get a bunch of readers to take a stand against these guys. <u>If you see bad behavior, point it out in a nice way</u>. If they don&#039;t correct it, see if your gym manager will kick them out. Don&#039;t be stupid like me and insult &#034;roided out&#034; freaks on a regular basis&#8230;I&#039;m sure I&#039;m going to get my butt kicked one of these days&#8230;LOL!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>I have to vent! About 1/2 the people who workout in most of the gyms I have belonged to are completely obnoxious!</strong></p>
<p>If you are new to working out and are intimidated by the bodybuilding retards that live in the free-weight rooms&#8230;don&#039;t be! Seriously&#8230;many of these guys have serious personality disorders and don&#039;t do very well in the &#034;real world&#034;. The one place where they feel like they have control is in the gym.<span id="more-36"></span></p>
<p>It is hilarious watching a free-weight room. <strong>They are a few personality types that are common in almost every gym I have worked out in. I&#039;ll list a few&#8230;tell me if you can relate.</strong></p>
<p><strong>1)</strong> <u>The Everlast &#034;clown pants&#034; wearing guy with the small cut tank top.</u> He is big and strong&#8230;usually really tan, but not very toned. He does a lot of benching and takes 5-10 minutes in between sets so he can lift more. This guy NEVER does cardio and it shows. Often times the guy has a mullet&#8230;or other bad 80&#039;s hair style.</p>
<p><strong>2)</strong> <u>The disturbing, spandex shorts wearing bodybuilder guy</u>. This guy is usually big and ripped and does a lot of posing in the mirror between sets. He also screams during his lifts. He will do a set of dumbbell curls right in front of the rack, so nobody can access the weights until he is through. He will also leave all of his weights all over the place&#8230;I think he believes that his workout is much more important than any of the other members.</p>
<p><strong>What Not to Wear!<br />

<p><strong>3) </strong><u>The guy that gives advice to everyone&#8230;especially people that don&#039;t ask for it</u>! The ironic thing is that this guy is never in very good shape.</p>
<p><strong>4) </strong><u>The guy that sings or raps loudly while listening to his I-pod</u>. This one drives me nuts! We don&#039;t want to hear you, we don&#039;t think you are cool&#8230;everyone thinks you are an idiot!</p>
<p><strong>5)</strong> <u>The guy who is &#034;super-setting&#034; and using 3 different pieces of equipment when it is busy</u>. When someone tries to use one of the three machines or benches&#8230;he screams &#034;I&#039;m using that!&#034;. I actually got in a fight with one of these guys (good thing it was broken up&#8230;I would have got my butt kicked, LOL!)</p>
<p><strong>6)</strong> <u>The &#034;Dumbbell Dropper&#034;&#8230;these are the guys who drop the dumbbells to the floor no matter what exercise they are doing</u>. Curls, Incline Dumbbell Press, Shrugs, etc&#8230;Watch your feet! These fools are going to drop the weights as soon as they are finished!</p>
<p><strong>7)</strong> <u>The &#034;Lat Flexer&#039;s&#034; these are the guys that walk around with their lats flared out</u>. They normally walk slow&#8230;you know&#8230;because &#034;they are moving so much muscle mass&#034;&#8230;LOL! I actually think this one might be contagious&#8230;it is reaching epidemic proportions!</p>
<p><strong> <img src='http://fitnessblackbook.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif' alt='8)' class='wp-smiley' /> </strong><u>The smelly guy that smells like sour milk</u>. We had a guy in our gym like this and someone asked him if he ever showered. He said &#034;sweat is a natural shower&#034;&#8230;eeeeew!</p>
<p><strong>9) </strong><u>The &#034;I used to bench xxx pounds guy&#034; or &#034;back in highschool I squatted xxx pounds guy&#034;</u>. Nobody cares what you used to do&#8230;nobody believes you anyway&#8230;and now you are a slob, so get over it!</p>
<p><strong>10)</strong> <u>The really attractive 25 year old single girl that just moved here from Sweden and wants someone to show her the town</u>&#8230;OH Wait&#8230;that isn&#039;t obnoxious at all&#8230;my bad!</p>
<p><strong>Do me a favor&#8230;comment below and add to this list. I&#039;m sure I&#039;m forgetting a bunch of obnoxious behavior!</strong></p>
