The Mitchell Report is coming out. In case you haven't heard, Senator George Mitchell has been doing extensive research into steroid abuse in professional baseball. He is releasing all the names in a report. They should have consulted me and I would have saved them a lot of time and money…LOL! I am amazed that people can't tell a steroid user from a non-steroid user. For me, it is all about the face and skull. Certain types of steroids cause skull growth and create an unmistakable "steroid head" look. I'm going to post a bunch of pictures of "steroid heads" so you know what to look for in the future.

Jason Giambi

See how his head extends WAY beyond the edges of his eyes. If he was born with a large head, his eyes would extend a bit wider as well. There is no question that he has been abusing for years. What is really crazy with Giambi is that you can see the edges of his skull before it expanded from steroid abuse.

Roger Clemens

Roger's head has the same effect as Jason Giambi, but maybe not quite a bit as extreme. He may fight the charges, but to me there is no question. Does anybody else see what I'm seeing. Am I crazy and just seeing things, or does he have a major case of the "steroid head" ? Rumor has it that Clemens injected steroids from 1998-2001.

Jose Canseco

Jose Canseco admitted to using steroids. He has serious steroid skull growth for sure. This picture doesn't show a great angle, but his skull growth is just as bad as Giambi's.

Let's Compare These Guys Heads to Obvious Steroid Abusers

Everyone knows that all Professional Bodybuilders are blatant steroid abusers. If you still don't believe this, you are fooling yourself. Every single competitor in IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding) uses steroids on a regular basis. Natural bodybuilding is a respectable sport…even though I am not a fan of bodybuilding…I like it that they are trying to make it a fair competition.

A Look at a Few Bodybuilder's Steroid Induced Skull Growth

Jay Cutler

" alt="Jay Cutler Steroids" />
Jay Cutler won the 2006 and 2007 Mr. Olympia. Although this is a competition of steroid users, it is quite a major feat. Everyone in the competition uses unreal amounts of roids, so it is an even playing field.

Lee Haney (1991) and Dorian Yates (1993)

These two former Mr. Olympia winners have slight skull growth from steroid use. What is funny is that their heads don't look as warped as the baseball players. Maybe it is because these guys are so massive. Dorian Yates doesn't have an attractive body at all, but he has muscle density at a higher level than I have ever seen. I rarely look at bodybuilding pictures anymore. I can't believe people want to look like this!

All The WWE Wrestlers Have a Case of "Steroid Skull" As Well

Professional Wrestlers typically all have enormous heads. The only thing worse than that is their body. This leads me to another telling sign of steroid abuse. The overly thick mid-section. This is especially noticeable when the person has low body fat percentage and has a huge "muscular gut". This is often times caused by growth of internal organs from steroid abuse. Excessive steroid use does all sorts of crazy things to the body!

Male Pregnancy…Pictures of "The Steroid Gut".

These images are really disturbing to me. Men are suppose to have small waists and broad shoulders. This is a terrible look. A lot of steroid users have really thick mid sections.

Dorian Yates

Here is what a typical bodybuilder looks like when he isn't in shape for a contest. I'm sure there isn't a woman reading this that finds this the least bit attractive.

Ronnie Coleman

Here is a picture of Ronnie Coleman relaxing his stomach for a second while posing. Although he has a visible six pack and is at a super low body fat level, that stomach is super thick! It is even more apparent when you see a side shot.

Jay Cutler

This picture is good because it shows the distended stomach of both Jay and another Mr Olympia competitor right behind him. These guys are really "paying the price" to win. They will have many health problems as a result as they get older.

The Massive Head and Thick Gut Combo is a Dead Giveaway!

All the baseball players pictured above have the "thick stomach" thing going on as well. I just showed their heads, because that is where the steroid side effects are most obvious in these guys. The bodybuilders have the big head thing going on as well, but what stands out the most is their huge, yet muscular mid sections.

It is Possible to Use Steroids Without These Side Effects

Obviously, I am just showing some of the biggest offenders. There are a lot of guys who take steroids for shorter periods of time and they just have a bit of these side effects. I applaud the George Mitchell and his "Mitchell Report". We need to stop these guys from using steroids for their own good. They do it because they need to be competitive with other steroid users…it is a sad and unhealthy viscous cycle.

Note: I saw Dorian Yates guest pose at "The Emerald Cup" in Seattle in 1992. He seemed like a super nice down-to-earth guy. I'm not slamming these guys at all. Many of them are good guys, just trying to compete amongst other steroid users. (I was into bodybuilding when I was younger and before I "woke up" and realized how pointless and unattractive it is to have large amounts of excessive muscle).

PS: Eugen Sandow is a good example of a bodybuilder we know for sure wasn't on steroids.

I completely believe that building big legs is a waste of your time in the gym. I mean…why work so had at something that makes your body less attractive to the opposite sex?

Before I go on…I wanted to post a video of a bodybuilder with massive legs. I'm willing to bet that 90% of women find this amount of muscle repulsive.

I'm not putting this guy down. He obviously has a really impressive amount of muscle. If he is in the sport of bodybuilding, he probably does very well in competitions. I just don't advise anyone to get this amount of muscle mass if they don't have to.

The best look for a man or woman is to get natural athletic looking legs. This can be accomplished by most of the cardio exercises that are in the gym…or running outside, playing sports, etc.

Building leg mass isn't too difficult, but really ask yourself why you want big legs. For the most part, you lose a bit of athletic ability if you build your legs up too much. Also…you can't wear nice pants or hip jeans. One more thing…leg lifts make your butt bigger…which is something you do NOT want if you are a guy.

I haven't done a leg lift in over 5 years and my legs are more toned then they have ever been. I believe that all that effort should be redirected into cardio, which will make your legs and butt look better as well as the rest of your body, by burning body fat.

So if you still want to build big legs, then make sure and buy some baggy sweat pants…as this will be your only clothing option going forward!

The side effects of steroids are downright frightening. With all the information out there, I have no idea why anyone would consider taking steroids!

The side effects of steroids are downright frightening. With all the information out there, I have no idea why anyone would consider taking steroids!

The least talked about side effects of steroids is skull growth and that is why I wanted to address it. It is so blatantly obvious to me when an athlete is on roids…look at their head! Seriously…doesn't anybody out there see this! Here are some photos to show you what I mean…

Barry Bonds

Jose Canseco

Jason Giambi

Is their any doubt in your mind that these guys have used steroids? I think it is easier to tell a steroid user by looking at their face then it does by looking at their body. There is just a certain steroid face that develops. The pictures above, Jason Giambi and Jose Canseco could be brothers!

The Steroid Side Effects Don't End There!

For Men: Shrinking of the testicles, development of breasts, baldness, acne, roid rage, growing of internal organs, increase in bad cholesterol, liver damage, liver cancer, and the list goes on…

For Women: Deepening of the voice, increase in body hair, enlargement of the clitoris, can effect fetal development when pregnant by increasing male features in the femal fetus and femal features in the male fetus, plus many more harmful side effects.

The ironic thing about people taking anabolic steroids is that it ruins the appearance of the body as well!

The human body was meant to be lean and sleek. The side effects of steroids is that it makes the body bulky. Most steroid users have a really thick waist along with the big arms and legs. A great example of this are "professional wrestlers".

This is NOT a good look! The majority of women do not find this body type attractive.

If you want to be healthy and look attractive…avoid anabolic steroids at all costs. All that muscle looks cheesy anyways. As I always say it is much better to have an average amount of muscle with great muscle tone.

David Beckham is a Great Example of a Natural Athlete

See…Normal size head, can fit into "hip" clothes, healthy, and attractive to beautiful women!

Hopefully I've made my case against anabolic steroids. The side effects of steroids are just plain scarey!
